  • 80% of global population live on on less than $10/day 
  • 30,000 children die each day due to poverty 
  • 1.6 billion people live without electricity
  • 2.5 billion people do not have access to adequate sanitation
  • Wealthiest 20% of population accounted for 76.6% of consumption. poorest 20% accounted for 1.5% of consumption
  • Wealthiest 10% of population accounted for 59% of consumption; poorest 10% accounted for 0.5% of consumption
