VMware DR to AWS

A great use case for public cloud is to use it for VMware DR. No need for DR servers, storage, backup, networking, data center or licencing. Only pay for what you use and since DR (and DR testing) is infrequently invoked there can be huge costs savings running DR in AWS.

Furthermore if all applications can be moved to VMware and use AWS for DR then potentially there is need for second data center. For enterprise IT this can be massive cost saving.
