The horizontal launch angle is determined by only two parameters, the club path and the face angle. As a rule of thumb, the horizontal launch angle is 15% determined by the club path and 85% determined by the face angle.

Here are some good tips how to easily break 90:
1. Avoid driver, only use clubs that you can hit at least 70 % of the time. Play shot/club that will has high percentage of success.
2. Avoid hero shot. Don't go for broke when you're in trouble
3. Limit three puts. Practice lag putting.
4. Stay positive. Stay in the present. Play one shot at a time, don't think ahead, stop chasing scores.Drop all expectations, play one shot at a time. Have fun! Bad reaction does not help in any way! No ego.
5. Don't try to change your swing mid round
6.Play backwards from the green
7. Always play to the middle of the green.
8. Use one club for all chipping/pitching shot
9. Practice low flying punch shot with 6/7 iron, place ball back, hands forward, lower grip, small swing
10. Target short par 3s for some 3s.
11. Target short par 4s for some 4s.
12. Plan course the night before playing.
13. Arrive at golf club one hour before game. Warm up stretches, swing golf clubs to warm up. Start with practice putting to determine speed of greens, then chipping and last a dozen irons shots and half dozen driver shots.
14. On score card track:
- Fairways hit
- GIR
- Putts (Good golfer has 30 putts per round)
15. Have good pre-shot routine, do not thinks about mechanics instead focus on target.
- Stand behind your ball and find your ball-to-target line. Some golfers like to hold their club up horizontally so that it runs through the ball and straight to the target – as a visual reinforcement of the ball-to-target line.
- It can also help to pick out a patch of ground, or a leaf a few feet in front of the ball that sits on your ball-to-target line.
- When it comes to the grip, hold the club up vertically and take your grip, making sure it is in your fingers. Keep that 45-degree angle. Next, push your rear end out, bend at the hips with the knees slightly flexed and place the club down behind the ball.
- Now, come into the side of the ball to make 2 practice swings. Even though these are practice swings, your stance and the alignment of your feet, hips and shoulders should running square to your ball-to-target line.
- During the first practice swing, you can think about 1 or 2 technicalities in your swing. If you’re working on something specific, you can quickly remind yourself during this first rehearsal swing.
- Take a second practice swing, but drop any technical thoughts from your mind. Just a feel for a nice smooth rhythm and tempo.
- Now go ahead and make your shot. As you set up to the golf ball, cross-check the alignment of your stance with your ball-to-target line and the patch of ground a few feet in front of the ball. During this swing, you must keep technical swing thoughts out of your mind.
10. Target short par 3s for some 3s.
11. Target short par 4s for some 4s.
